The first incarnation of "Left to the Right Monkey"

After (extensive) flyering in spring 2004, 50 auditionees responded. Of those, the Darkwinner kept a guitarist who never played guitar before, a bass player who never played bass before, and a drummer who's really a guitarist but played marching band drums in high school.

History

After about 3 rehearsals, this incarnation of "Left to the Right Monkey" also played a Canopy Open mic with the following songs:
"Forever" by Ashley and the Darkwinner
"Take My Hand" by the Darkwinner
"Cross Over" by Sarafina and the Darkwinner
"You're So Amazing" by Ashley and the Darkwinner

After the open mic, we lost Ashely and Joe to summer jobs. So the Darkwinner asked some new folks to join for the second incarnation of Left to the Right Monkey."
