The second incarnation of "Left to the Right Monkey"

From the first incarnation , we had Sarafina and the Darkwinner. The second version of "Left to the Right Monkeyincluded an extremely talented drummer, Wurm. (from a sister band that never started up, "Superhero Machete")and Abby and Nicole (from another sister band that only kind of started up "The Irregulars.")

	Name: Abby Instrument: Voice and bass/tambourine/whatever Description: Abby's a cool girl, and smart to boot! She considered driving 6 hours just for a 2 hour rehearsal and doing that twice a week! WOW! Auditioned on: "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton and "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger
	Name: Nicole Instrument: Guitar and voice Description: From Bloomington Normal, she'll be commuting even in the fall and spring. But she's been playing open mics and such, and she's rarin' to join a real band! Auditioned on: "Wonderwall" by Oasis and "Since You've Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson

We had prepared a much longer set list if we had performed as 2 bands (long complicated story....)

After the open mic, we lost Wurm to a (second) summer job. Sarafina needed to spend more time with her family, and Nicole, er, disappeared.

Learning from the past, the Darkwinner realized 5 people didn't work out (despite matching personalities) because they just weren't motivated enough to continue with the band when other stuff came up.

For the third incarnation of "Left to the Right Monkey" the Darkwinner needs a team of folks who are motivated to continue with the band when other things come up, but aren't so "motivated" that they are "wannabe famous" egotists who fight with the Darkwinner when they don't get their way.

The Darkwinner knows that such folks are hard to find. But like all superheroes, the Darkwinner keeps going especially when things get tough....
